First let me start by saying sorry, I'm really behind on my postings. Let me back track, what have I missed. Happy Easter! This year was a bit different than past years. We stayed in Lincoln, had dinner with my mom, her siblings and their families. What a nice time that was, that side of the family has gotten so big that we rarely have time to all get together.

We went to hunt for eggs on Saturday (7th) at church, Jillian was taking a nap so I missed out on that fun task. Logan loves to hunt for eggs, but this year he had stage fright or something, he had to be talked into grabbing the eggs. It was a bit chilly that afternoon, but Logan still came home with a great stash of candy.

April 11th, Logan turned 4. Wow! still a bit hard to believe he is getting so big. We had Logan's party at Chuck E Cheese. What a great place for kids of all ages to burn off all that energy that they always have. Logan always cleans up with gifts. We all stuffed ourselves with pizza and cake.

This was almost impossible to get, as you can see mom's had to help and Sage is not happy at all. There were smiles before the picture time. This was after the kids got to go crazy and play. Next time I better do the picture before the kiddos run wild. I will end this post with pictures of Jillian at Logan's party, she did a great job with so much happening around her. She is showing grandma Janet her tongue.

Teething, I want to chew on anything and everything

Jillian 6 months

Can hardly believe how fast Jillian is growing. She is just as silly as her big brother. At her check-up she weigh in at 13lbs 7ozs (6%), 26inches (50%), head 16 5/8inches (50%). Jillian is a petite little (just like mommy), the doctor is not worried about her weight; she is still tracking at her own pace. Some things Jillian is doing right now.
1. Roller, she really gets around. She does get stuck and she will let you know.
2. Talker, man can she talk up a storm, not sure what she is saying, but we listen anyway.
3. She has found her feet and will have them in her mouth any chance she gets, keeping socks on is next to impossible.
4. Her favorite kitty is Athena; she wants to grab her tail whenever she walks by.
5. She is an earlier bird, and a light sleeper.
6. She looks good in yellow and pink.

We have started baby food and she likes applesauce, pears, and she doesn’t care for plain rice cereal. We are waiting on some teeth, she has been chewing on her hands and toys, but no teeth have popped up yet. Jillian wants to crawl, but hasn’t figured out how to get on those knees and move, it’s only a matter of time.
I will end this post with Jillian's 6 months pictures we went to Penney's, had Logan sit in for a few shots, which he really enjoys. Sorry this has taken me so long to post something.

The Christmas stash

Santa has come and gone, tree is packed up & put away, decorations in storage until next year, opened boxes around the house for cats to hide in. What a special Christmas this year as a family of 4. Logan was a great helper with opening Jillian's gifts. She had no clue what she was missing. Both kids got lots of great gifts from the family. Logan got his v-reader (kid size Kindle), and lots of other great toys. Jillian got mostly clothes and a play mat that will keep her busy for months to come. Logan even got his baby sister a special gift, big stuffed reindeer.
We went to Christmas eve services at 4pm which was jammed packed with people. Afterwards we had turkey with all the fix ins.Mom was here, we opened presents and played. Santa came when we were all sleeping. Christmas day we were at my dad's. Great day, Mary and dad did a wonderful job hosting the family. Monday we went to Henderson to have Michel Christmas, Jeff was here so it was special. We stayed the night. Jillian slept in her pack n play and Logan slept with me. Note to self..sleeping with a 3 year old, don't plan on much sleep.

Now that the new year is here. What will 2012 bring? Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas/New Year. We didn't do anything for New Years the whole family was in bed before midnight.

Jillian's 3 month pictures

Jillian is 4 months already, I can't believe how fast the time is going. It seems like I just had her. Jillian had her 4month check up and she did a super job. She is 12lbs 3oz's(10%), 24 3/4inches(34%), head is 16inches(25-50%). My little angel got shots, she did wonderful (better than mommy, I can't watch). We will start trying baby food. Jillian doesn't have MSPI anymore or if she does it doesn't bother her. Nice to be able to eat dairy again and use a regular formula as a supplement.

Logan is so excited for Christmas, he has been asking Santa for a remote control car. He is always asking is it Christmas yet? I think he may want to open presents.

Logan is now in Sunday school and was in his first Christmas program on December 11th. He didn't sing, but did stand there most of the time without looking too bored. He really enjoys going to Sunday school, one of his friends from my mom's club group is in class with him.
This year is going so fast, can't believe that the New Year is just around the corner. Hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year.

Jillian baptism

What a blessed day. Jillian was baptized today. At St. Luke's Methodist Church. It was a great service. Besides her parents and big brother Jillian had all her grandparents, great grandparents Michel, uncle Kevin, aunt Angie, and cousin Zack, for her special day. After services everyone came back to our place for lunch and cake. We opened gifts, Logan played with Zack and grandpa and we all chatted. It was a great afternoon. Thanks to everyone for being able to share in this special day.

This year the week before Halloween was jammed packed with many things to do. First we went to Fright at the Museum at Morrill Hall. Insanely crazy, not much candy. Boo at the Zoo. Also busy,we had to take a bus to the zoo, but got lots of candy, its a merry not scary trick or treating. Also we had a Fall party with my Moms Club, I forgot the camera that morning. Halloween night Doug and Logan went out to get candy, Jillian and I stayed home for a little bit. Logan wanted mommy and baby sister to come help. So we went out. The night was great, I wish every Halloween was like that. Jillian did a great job, she just hung out in her stroller and looked at the street lights, she was nice and warm under her blanket.

It was a wonderful Halloween, now on to the next holiday Thanksgiving and then Christmas. This year is just flying by.
